Dornier Siren Syrah – 95 Points, Christian Eedes

The 2015 harvest is commonly regarded as one of the best harvests in many years for the South African wine industry.

The absence of heat waves and cooler than normal weather in February was ideal for ripening and harvesting. Lower temperatures at night during harvest time contributed towards good colour and flavour especially in red wines.
Dornier Siren Syrah is no exception and was recently awarded 95 points by Christian Eedes.

“A compelling nose of red and black fruit, scrub and intense pepper. With striking fruit purity, fresh acidity and nicely grippy tannins, this is one of the finest examples of Syrah from Stellenbosch tasted recently.”
