PRIVATE FUNCTIONS

Nestled at the foot of the majestic Stellenbosch Mountain, Dornier Estate offers a variety of venue options for exclusive, private functions.

Dornier’s experienced hospitality team will assist in ensuring that all your specific needs are met be it for an Engagement Party, 21st Celebration, Pre-Function Drinks Reception or End Year Company Function.

CORPORATE EVENTS

We specialise in arranging elegant cocktail parties, corporate functions, business meetings and lunches, exclusive wine tastings and sumptuous dinners with accompanying fine wines.

For a seamless and successful function, the Dornier functions team assists with all your requirements. Whatever kind of event, function or meeting you have in mind, Dornier is the perfect function venue in the Winelands.

VENUES AVAILABLE

ONE ESTATE, MANY VENUES

Dornier Estate is located in the upper Blaauwklippen Valley, an area famed for its beauty and its excellent wines. At Dornier we cater for a wide range of conferences, functions, events, product launches, photo and film shoots.

This tranquil setting is only 50 minutes drive from Cape Town and 30 minutes from the airport.

Wine Cellar

The modern cellar has been completed in 2003 and has been featured in several architecture books. It is famed for its roof shape and the large reflecting pool on top of the maturation cellar. There are several attractive areas for your reception, launch event or photo shoots. The Tasting Room, the Brag Room and the Courtyard.

Tasting Room

Dornier’s modern Tasting Room features panoramic views of Stellenbosch Mountain and Dornier’s working wine cellar and vineyards. The Indoor seating area is temperature-controlled and opens up to a courtyard that can be moulded to accommodate most any form of private function.

Homestead

Dornier Homestead, an original Sir Herbert Baker design, is a tranquil country setting amidst the Helderberg and Stellenbosch Mountains and the Dornier vineyards. There are five elegant function rooms where we can accommodate up to 90 guests seated.

The offer includes several outside areas and six comfortable bedrooms, sleeping up to twelve persons. To make your stay private and undisturbed, you will have exclusive use of the venue. The Dornier Homestead has its own modern kitchen, run by the Dornier Bodega kitchen team.
