Alan Mullins on Dornier Wines and the Dornier Bodega Restaurant

We were royally treated at Bodega yesterday. JC gave us a personal wine tasting despite being busy with the harvest and fighting fires on the farm. The wines were really good with the Donatus blend quite spectacular. I will certainly be promoting them. The restaurant exceeded any expectation. We really enjoyed the crispy calamari starters, my friend raved about the pork belly and I was in heaven when I discovered perlemoen on the menu. It was such a varied and stimulating menu that I cannot wait to go back. Friendlier service doesn't exist and the view from the stoep rounded off a perfect experience. Thank you very much for setting up a wonderful visit to a special place.
